Kailey Schnurman is a graduate of Ithaca College with a dual degree in Music Education and Bassoon Performance. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Music Education through the American Band College Program of Central Washington University. Kailey currently serves as the Director of Bands at St John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip, where she directs the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and moderates their chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society. In addition to this, she also teaches electives in both guitar and piano.  Outside of her school community Kailey is a current staff member for St. John Nepomucene Youth Ministry in Bohemia and has has served as a performer, pit musician, and Music Director of the Summer Camp here at CM Performing Arts Center. She could not be any more thrilled to be coming back to camp this summer in the theater she calls home.
